Adam and Lawrence learn pretty quickly that the only way out for Lawrence is to kill Adam and if he does not do it by 6 o?clock his wife and daughter will be killed. In flashbacks and ?side cuts? we learn more about the characters, their struggels in their attempt to escape. Lawrence knows more about the person who is probably behind all of this as he was a suspect in several similar cases and a retired detective by the name David Tapp (played by Danny Glover) is out trying to find the guy behind all this, they nicknamed him ?Jigsaw”.
